In the ongoing cauldron of fire on Linked-in, X (né Twitter) and elsewhere about the Government (non)intervention on quality thresholds for HE, Phil Baty - Chief Global Affairs Officer of Times Higher Education - offered a brilliant riposte, based on this Telegraph news item:

...An academic amnesty which shows the squiggly careers of most people for what they truly are - a learning progression through life.
